Narasimham (Ravi) is Investment Director in Caspian Impact Investment Adviser Pvt. Ltd (Caspian). Ravi has been engaged with financial inclusion and livelihoods promotion since beginning of his professional career in 1993. Most of Ravi’s 24 years of professional career spanned across retail finance, wholesale finance & equity investments. Ravi is passionate about working closely with start-ups/Greenfield & create value by developing these businesses into robust companies. He started his career working as a development consultant in a consultancy firm that studied the Rural Non-Farm sector in India. He was one of the team that founded BASIX. Ravi joined Caspian in year 2005, he was on boards Indian School Finance Company and Sonata Finance. Ravi currently is on the Boards of Caspian Impact Investment Adviser (Caspian) & Origo Commodities, he is on the Investment Committee the INVENT program of KIIT and he is the Fund Manager of Caspian’s new equity fund – Caspian SME Impact Fund IV.
