Sushant is currently the Business Head for SME and start-up lending at Caspian Debt. He leads the team that builds and manages the partnerships & portfolio across sectors like Clean Energy, Education, Food & Agri, Healthcare, Sustainability, and WASH. He is also the Regional Manager for our Bangalore office.
Prior to joining us in May 2016 as an Investment associate, Sushant worked as a Product Manager with Fincare SFB where he helped set up the cross-sales vertical for financing solar lights, mobile phones, and pensions for microfinance customers. Earlier,he was the area sales manager for the vehicle (tractor) finance business for a large NBFC. He started his career in 2010 as an Assistant Systems Engineer with Tata Consultancy Services.
Sushant holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) and a B.Tech in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT,Vellore).
